Throughout the semester I was exposed to numerous social media outlets and was encouraged to participate in this growing phenomenon called "the groundswell." I now recognize the importance of social media to the public relations world and other professions.

The Loveliest Village is one of the social media outlets I was exposed to during the semester. This Web site was designed to showcase Auburn University public relations students' writing and video developing capabilities. The site features videos and blogs that relate to Auburn University and the surrounding community. For this course, I posted a weekly video interview.
